Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before applying to or participating in any retreat programme ("Retreat") offered through Psychedelia Retreats. The provider and your contractual partner is Novuni BV, Karveelweg 20, 6222NH Maastricht, Netherlands, as operator of the Psychedelia Retreats platform ("we", "us", "our"); the full provider information can be found in the Imprint. These Terms contain the shared framework conditions for all retreats offered via the platform; the specific scope of services is set out in the respective offer and booking confirmation. Submitting an application does not conclude a contract; the contract is formed only upon express confirmation by the organiser. The conditions applicable to the specific booking will be made available to you before the contract is concluded.
1. Eligibility and Screening
Participation in the Retreat is subject to successful completion of our medical and psychological screening process. We reserve the right to decline an application if, in our sole discretion, participation is deemed unsuitable or unsafe for the applicant or the group.
2. Programme and Services
The specific scope of services for the respective Retreat — such as psilocybin-assisted sessions, accommodation, meals, workshops, and integration support — as well as the venue, are set out in the respective offer and booking confirmation. Travel to and from the venue, transfers to the venue, and travel insurance are not included, unless expressly stated otherwise in the respective offer.
3. Payment, Cancellation, and Refunds
The specific payment, cancellation, and refund terms are communicated in the respective offer or booking confirmation and are bindingly agreed there. This applies in particular to retreat fees, any deposits, payment dates, and the consequences of cancellation or rebooking.
4. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to engage respectfully, honestly, and with consideration for all other participants and facilitators. A detailed code of conduct will be provided, and adherence is required to maintain a safe and supportive environment for everyone.
5. Risks, Health, and Liability
You acknowledge that participation in psychedelic experiences may involve physical and psychological risks, including in a professionally supported setting. The Retreat is educational and exploratory and is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric diagnosis or treatment; no particular outcome or cure is owed. You must answer screening questions fully and truthfully and promptly disclose any safety-relevant changes. Liability for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health caused by a breach of duty by the organiser, its legal representatives, or persons engaged to perform its obligations, remains unaffected.
6. Confidentiality
We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information and experiences shared during the retreat, within the limits of legal and ethical obligations. Group participants are also expected to uphold the confidentiality of experiences shared within the group.
7. Legal Framework (Psilocybin)
The retreats take place at the venue stated in the respective offer or booking confirmation. These Terms make no statement as to whether, or under what conditions, the use of psilocybin-containing substances is permitted at any particular venue. Such substances may be prohibited in your country of residence or transit. You are responsible for informing yourself about, and complying with, the local rules on controlled substances that apply to you.
8. Programme Changes
While we endeavor to deliver the program as described, we reserve the right to make necessary modifications to the itinerary, facilitators, or content due to unforeseen circumstances, always prioritizing participant safety and experience quality.
